What started out as a water powered sawmill in the early days evolved to a steam powered sawmill in the 1940's to today's advanced double cut bandsaw operation!

Located in the foothills of the  the Allegany mountains, Potter Lumber is amidst some of the finest hardwood forests in the world!

Our team of professional foresters and certified timber harvesters can help harvest both private and public timber lots. 

We also buy and sell hardwood logs year round! 

Our proven sawmill practices and drying techniques produce some of the finest high quality grade hardwood lumber in the industry.
